Xu Bin (born on February 19, 1989) is an actor and singer from Singapore, originally from China. He is managed by a company called NoonTalk Media. He was also known as one of the "8 Dukes of Caldecott Hill," which means he was one of the most popular young male actors in Singapore.

Early Life and School

Xu Bin was born in Fuzhou, China. He moved to Singapore to go to school. When he was 17, he joined a singing competition in Singapore called Campus SuperStar. He was representing Woodlands Ring Secondary School, but he was eliminated in the first round. After that, Xu Bin studied at Temasek Polytechnic and finished his studies there in 2012.

Acting and Music Career

Xu Bin started his acting career in 2012. His first role was in a Singaporean movie called Timeless Love.

In 2013, he won an award for "Favourite Male Character" at the Star Awards 2013. These awards celebrate the best in Singaporean television. In 2014, he was nominated for "Most Favourite On-screen Couple" with actress Julie Tan. In 2015, Xu Bin released his second song, which was called Chinese: 几分之几. He also took part in an online show. In 2020, he became a spokesperson for a hair care company called Beijing 101 Hair Consultants.

Personal Life

On November 3, 2017, Xu Bin married Evelyn Wang Yifei in Singapore. They also had two more wedding parties in their hometowns in China. Evelyn Wang Yifei studied at the Beijing Film Academy. Instead of becoming an actress, she decided to help with her family's property business.

Xu Bin and Evelyn met at a friend's party in 2014. Their relationship was kept a secret for a while because Xu Bin's company, NoonTalk Media, had a rule that its artists could not date. This rule was lifted in 2016 for Xu Bin and another actor, Aloysius Pang, because they were considered old enough.

On July 10, 2018, Xu Bin announced that his first child, a son named Ethan Xu, was born. The name Ethan was one of the English names suggested by Aloysius Pang, who was asked to help choose a name for the baby. On March 12, 2021, Xu Bin announced the birth of his second child, a daughter named Elyse. As of 2022, Xu Bin and his family live in Singapore.
