About Xu Bin

His Journey to Acting

Xu Bin was born in Fuzhou, China, on February 19, 1989. He moved to Singapore to study when he was younger. When he was 17, he joined a singing contest called Campus SuperStar. He represented Woodlands Ring Secondary School but was eliminated early in the competition.

After finishing his studies at Temasek Polytechnic in 2012, Xu Bin got his first acting role. He appeared in the Singaporean movie Timeless Love.

In 2013, he won an award for Favourite Male Character at the Star Awards 2013. This showed how much fans loved his acting. He also became a spokesperson for Beijing 101 Hair Consultants in 2020.

His Family Life

On November 3, 2017, Xu Bin married Evelyn Wang Yifei in Singapore. They also had two more wedding parties in their hometowns in China. Evelyn studied at the Beijing Film Academy but chose to work in her family's business.

Xu Bin and Evelyn met at a friend's party in 2014. At first, their relationship was kept private. This was because Xu Bin's agency, NoonTalk Media, had rules about actors dating. These rules were changed in 2016 for Xu Bin and another actor, Aloysius Pang, as they were older.

Xu Bin and Evelyn have two children. Their first child, a son named Ethan Xu, was born on July 10, 2018. Ethan's English name was suggested by Aloysius Pang, a good friend of Xu Bin. On March 12, 2021, they welcomed their second child, a daughter named Elyse. As of 2022, the Xu family lives in Singapore.
