Xuxa 2 is a music album by the famous Brazilian singer and TV host, Xuxa. It was her eighth studio album overall and her second one sung in Spanish language. The album came out on April 25, 1991, released by BMG in many countries like Spain, the U.S., and across Latin America.
The songs on the album kept their original feel but had a more Latin sound, making them fun to listen to. One song, "Crocki Crocki," was actually from an older album of hers called Xegundo Xou da Xuxa (from 1987). The album was put together by Michael Sullivan and Paulo Massadas. Graciela Carballo helped with the singing and making the songs sound right in Spanish.

Making the Album
The album was created by Michael Sullivan and Paulo Massadas. Max Pierre and Marlene Mattos helped manage the artistic side. Xuxa herself, along with Mattos and Sullivan, picked out the songs for the album. The recording happened at the Som Livre studio in Los Angeles.
Just like her first Spanish album, Xuxa 2 included popular songs from Xuxa's TV shows. These included "Tindolelê" (which became "Chindolele"), "Hada Madrina" ("Dinda Ou Dindinha"), "I Love You Xuxu," and "Luna de Cristal" ("Lua de Cristal"). The song "El milagro de la vida" was even used as the main song for an Argentine TV show called El árbol azul from 1991 to 1992.
The picture for the Xuxa 2 album cover was chosen in August 1990, even before they started recording. The actual recording of the album didn't begin until October of that year. Interestingly, the photos for Xuxa 2 and another album called Xou da Xuxa Seis used pictures from an earlier photo shoot for Xuxa 5. The photographer, Paulo Rocha, is credited for all three albums. On the cover of Xuxa 5, you can see a small Brazilian flag. This was to show people that it was the Portuguese version of the album.
