Yasmin Evans (born on October 27, 1990) is a popular English TV and radio presenter. She is well-known for her work on BBC Radio 1Xtra from 2012 to 2021. Yasmin also presented Saturday Mash-Up! on CBBC and joined Heart Radio in 2022.

Early Life and Learning
Yasmin Evans was born in Stockport, which is a town in Greater Manchester, England. She started her radio journey very early, at just 15 years old. She worked at a community radio station in Manchester called All Fm 96.9.
University Studies
Yasmin went on to study Radio at the University of Salford. While she was there, the BBC noticed her talent. They invited her to join a special program to help new presenters.

Starting at BBC Radio 1Xtra
In September 2012, Yasmin got her first big break at BBC Radio 1Xtra. She started by hosting the Weekend Breakfast show. After only nine months, she became the co-host of the Weekday Breakfast Show. She presented this show for three years alongside Twin B. In 2016, she moved to a new time slot, hosting weekday afternoons.
Presenting Saturday Mash-Up!
In the summer of 2017, it was announced that Yasmin Evans would co-host Saturday Mash-Up! on CBBC. She presented the show with Jonny Nelson. Saturday Mash-Up! was a fun show with celebrity guests, games, funny skits, and clips from other CBBC shows. It was filmed in MediaCityUK in Salford. Yasmin and Jonny hosted two series of the show between 2017 and 2019.
Hosting The Brit Awards
Yasmin also had the honor of presenting the first-ever International Live Stream for The Brit Awards. She did this in 2018, 2019, and 2020. The Brit Awards celebrate the best in British music.
Appearing on Celebrity SAS
In 2020, Yasmin Evans took part in the TV show Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins on Channel 4. This program aired in April 2020.
Moving to Heart Radio
In December 2021, Yasmin announced that she would be leaving BBC Radio 1Xtra. She had spent nine years at the station, and her last show was on Christmas Eve 2021. It was also announced that she would join Heart Radio starting in 2022. She has been a presenter there since then.
