Yasmin Evans (born October 27, 1990) is a well-known TV and radio presenter from England. She is famous for her work on BBC Radio 1Xtra from 2012 to 2021. Yasmin also presented Saturday Mash-Up! on CBBC and now works for Heart Radio.

Early Life and School
Yasmin Evans was born in Stockport, which is a town in Greater Manchester, England. She started her journey in radio when she was only 15 years old. She presented shows on All Fm 96.9, a local radio station in Manchester.
Later, Yasmin studied Radio at the University of Salford. While she was there, the BBC noticed her talent. They invited her to join a special program for new presenters.
Yasmin Evans' Career
In September 2012, Yasmin got a job at BBC Radio 1Xtra. She started by presenting the Weekend Breakfast show. After just nine months, she became a co-host for the Weekday Breakfast Show. She worked on this show for three years with another presenter named Twin B.
In 2016, Yasmin changed her show time. She moved to weekday afternoons, swapping with another presenter called Dotty.
Presenting Saturday Mash-Up!
In the summer of 2017, it was announced that Yasmin Evans would host a new show. She joined Jonny Nelson to present Saturday Mash-Up! on CBBC. This show was a fun mix of celebrity guests, games, and funny sketches.
It also featured clips from other CBBC shows. Saturday Mash-Up! was filmed in MediaCityUK in Salford. Yasmin and Jonny hosted two series of the show between 2017 and 2019.
Hosting The Brit Awards
Yasmin also had a big role at The Brit Awards. In 2018, she hosted the first-ever International Live Stream for the awards. This meant people all over the world could watch it online.
She continued to host the live stream for the Brit Awards in 2019 and 2020.
Other TV and Radio Work
In 2020, Yasmin appeared on a TV show called Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. This show was on Channel 4. It was shown in April 2020.
In December 2021, Yasmin shared that she would be leaving BBC Radio 1Xtra. She had worked there for nine years. Her last show was on Christmas Eve in 2021. It was also announced that she would join Heart Radio starting in 2022.
