Yawkey (also called Porter Fork) is a small place in eastern Lincoln County, West Virginia, United States. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it does not have its own local government, unlike a city or town.
Yawkey is located where West Virginia Routes 3 and 214 meet. It lies east of Hamlin, which is the main town and county seat of Lincoln County. A county seat is where the county government offices are located. Yawkey is about 738 feet (225 meters) above sea level.
