Yerba Buena is a city in Tucumán Province, Argentina. It is the main city of the Yerba Buena Department. The city is located about 466 meters (1,528 feet) above sea level.
Yerba Buena is the most developed area in its department. It is mostly a place where people live, with many homes. However, there are also many shops, restaurants, and cafes along its main road, Aconquija Avenue. This avenue is very busy, especially on weekends. People from Yerba Buena and nearby cities come here to have fun and relax.
Many of the province's private clubs and gated communities are found in Yerba Buena. These are special neighborhoods with controlled entrances.
A famous spot nearby in the mountains is San Javier. There, you can see a large cross called "El Cristo." Yerba Buena has grown a lot since 1996. On average, two new homes have been built there every day.
