Yohei Nishibe's Football Journey

Yohei Nishibe was born in Kobe, Japan, on December 1, 1980. After finishing high school, he began his professional football career. He played for several teams in Japan's top leagues, the J1 League and J2 League.

Starting with Urawa Reds

Nishibe joined the J1 League club Urawa Reds in 1999. In 2000, the team was in the J2 League. He made his first appearance in the 2000 J.League Cup on April 12. Later that year, he played in seven league matches. Urawa Reds finished second in the 2000 season and moved back up to J1. In 2001, he played in many games, competing for the goalkeeper spot.

Time at Kashima Antlers

During his time there, S-Pulse reached the finals of important tournaments. They finished second in the 2005 Emperor's Cup, the 2008 J.League Cup, and the 2010 Emperor's Cup.

Moving to Shonan Bellmare

In 2011, Nishibe moved to Shonan Bellmare, a club that had just moved down to the J2 League. He was the regular goalkeeper for the team. However, the team did not have a good season and finished in 14th place.

Playing for Kawasaki Frontale
