Yon Tumarkin (born July 22, 1989) is an Israeli actor and singer. He is well-known for his role as Leo in the popular TV series Split.

Early Life and Background
Yon Tumarkin grew up in Jaffa, Israel. He is the youngest son of Naama Tumarkin and the artist Yigal Tumarkin. His grandfather, Martin Hellberg, was a German actor. When Yon was 13, his parents divorced, and he moved to Tel Aviv with his mother. He attended Tichon Ironi Alef high school, where he earned a diploma in Art. After high school, he served in the Israeli army, completing his service in 2011.
Acting Career Highlights
Yon Tumarkin started his acting journey at a young age. When he was eight, a casting director noticed him. Soon after, he began appearing in many TV commercials.
First Roles and Breakthrough
At age ten, Yon got his first big acting job in the TV film Who stole the show?. When he was twelve, he acted in the film Shisha Million Rasisim, playing a child who survived the Holocaust. His career really took off with a main role in the TV series Napoleon Hills Kids.
In 2009, Yon sang "Power of Thought" at the Festigal, a popular Israeli music festival, and won second place for his performance.
Starring in Split
In 2009, Yon Tumarkin began starring alongside Amit Farkash in the TV series Split. He played Leo Zachs, a 600-year-old Vampire who looks like a teenager. The show became very popular in Israel and was sold to 78 other countries. Because of his great acting in Split, Yon won the Israeli Television Academy Award for Best Actor four times in a row, from 2009 to 2012.
Other Notable Works
After Split, Yon continued to act in various projects. In 2012, he had a main role in the Israeli drama film Rock the Casbah, which won awards. In 2014, he joined the cast of the TV series The Nerd Club.
In 2015, Yon Tumarkin starred in JeruZalem, an English-speaking Israeli horror film, alongside Yael Grobglas and Danielle Jadelyn. He also appeared in the Israeli children's series Susey Pere (Wild Horses) in 2016. That same year, he was cast in the TV series "My Guardian Angel," which is about teenagers and their guardian angels. In 2018, he played a graphic designer named Reuben in an episode of the British crime series McMafia.
