What Happens in the Story?
The story begins with Alfons playing with his friend Viktor. Viktor's cousin, Milla, joins them. The three friends decide to work together on a fun project. They start building an awesome treehouse.
Building the Treehouse and New Ideas
Alfons spends a lot of time with Milla. They have many creative ideas for their treehouse. They plan to add a special letterbox. This letterbox would have a lift to send messages up to the treehouse. Milla is also very talented. She can bake delicious cookies for them to share. She even creates a theatre-circus show using Teddy bears. Milla is also brave and active. She can stand on one hand. She even dares to jump from the garage roof near the parking lot. Together, Alfons and Milla also think of a flag. This flag can be raised and lowered on their treehouse.
Dealing with Teasing
One day, Alfons is at school. He goes to the restroom. There, he sees a group of boys teasing him. They have written messages saying he plays with girls. This makes Alfons feel a bit embarrassed. For a short time, he doesn't want to play with Milla.
Friendship Wins
But Milla still comes to play. Alfons decides to ignore the boys who were teasing him. He realizes that his friendship with Milla is important. When the treehouse flag is finally raised to the very top, something special happens. The teasing stops. Everyone sees how cool their treehouse and friendship are.
