Youngsville is a town located in Franklin County, North Carolina, in the United States. In 2020, about 2,016 people lived there.
History of Youngsville
The area where Youngsville is now was first settled around 1839. It was called Pacific back then. The land belonged to a person named John "Jack" Young.
Later, in 1875, the town officially became a town, which is called "incorporated." They decided to rename it Youngsville to honor John "Jack" Young.
A famous country music singer, Jason Michael Carroll, lives in this area. Also, a historic building called the William A. Jeffreys House was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. This means it's an important historical site.

Youngsville is located in North Carolina, not too far from the city of Raleigh. The town covers an area of about 1.6 square miles (4.1 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
A railway line runs through Youngsville. This railway is operated by CSX Transportation. It used to be part of an older railway system called the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad.
