Ysgol Maes Garmon is a secondary school in Mold, Flintshire, Wales. It is a Welsh-medium school. This means most subjects are taught in Welsh. The school welcomes students aged 11 to 18.
It was started in 1961. Ysgol Maes Garmon is the only Welsh-medium high school in Flintshire. The school shares some of its buildings and sports areas with Alun School.

Learning Welsh at Ysgol Maes Garmon
Even though it's a Welsh-medium school, Ysgol Maes Garmon helps students who don't speak Welsh yet. They have a special program called an "immersion programme." This program helps students from English-speaking primary schools learn Welsh quickly. The school is very active in supporting Welsh-medium education across Wales. In 2016, a TV show called OMG: Ysgol Ni! was filmed at the school by S4C.
