Ysgol Maes Garmon is a secondary school in Mold, Flintshire, Wales. It is a Welsh-medium school, which means most subjects are taught in Welsh. The school welcomes students aged 11 to 18.
It opened in 1961 and is the only Welsh-medium high school in Flintshire. Ysgol Maes Garmon shares some of its buildings and sports fields with Alun School.
Even if you don't speak Welsh yet, Ysgol Maes Garmon has a special program. This program helps students from English-speaking primary schools learn Welsh quickly. The school is very active in supporting Welsh education. In 2016, a TV show called OMG: Ysgol Ni! was filmed there by S4C.
