Yuri Sardarov, also known as Yuriy Sardarov, was born on January 28, 1988. He is an American actor and producer. He has worked a lot in theater. Many people know him from the TV show Chicago Fire on NBC, where he starred for eight seasons.
Early Life
Yuri Sardarov has a mixed background; his family is half-Georgian and half-Armenian. When he was two years old, his family moved to the United States as refugees. His parents and grandparents were all musicians.
Yuri was named after his grandfather, and they are very close. They even have matching tattoos in Cyrillic writing. To make his name a little different from his grandfather's, Yuri started spelling it with an extra "y" at the end. He has a younger brother named Nick, who is eleven years younger than him.
Yuri went to Glenbrook North High School near Chicago starting in his junior year and graduated in 2006. Later, in 2010, he earned a degree in Theatre Performance from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance.
Personal Life
Yuri Sardarov spends his time living in both Los Angeles and Chicago. While he was filming Chicago Fire, he lived with some of his costars, Joe Minoso and Charlie Barnett. He has a partner named Madeleine. Yuri enjoys comedy and even took classes at The Second City, a famous comedy theater, when he had free time in Chicago.
