Yusuhara Hachiman-gū (柞原八幡宮), also known as Yasuhara Shrine, is a Japanese Shinto shrine in Ōita, Ōita on the island of Kyushu.
History
Yusuhara was established in the early 9th century.
Yusuhara was the chief Shinto shrine (ichinomiya) of the old Bungo Province. It serves today as one of the ichinomiya of Ōita Prefecture. This place is special to the kami of
- Emperor Chūai (仲哀天皇)
- Emperor Ōjin (応神天皇)
- Empress Jingū (神功皇后)
In 1916, Yusuhara was listed among the minor Shinto shrines which are nationally important.
