Yusuke Kondo's Football Journey

Yusuke Kondo started his professional football career in Japan. He played for several teams in the J.League, which is Japan's top football league.

Early Career and First Club

Kondo was born in Edogawa, Tokyo. After finishing high school, he joined FC Tokyo in 2003. This team plays in the J1 League, which is the highest division of professional football in Japan. In his first year, he got chances to play and show his skills.

Winning the J.League Cup

In 2004, FC Tokyo won the 2004 J.League Cup. This was a very special moment for the club. It was their first big championship title ever. Kondo was part of this winning team.

Playing for Vissel Kobe

In 2006, Kondo moved to Vissel Kobe on a loan. A loan means he played for them for a while, but still belonged to FC Tokyo. Vissel Kobe had just moved down to the J2 League, the second division. Kondo became a regular player for them, playing as a forward. His help allowed Vissel Kobe to move back up to the J1 League at the end of the 2006 season. He continued to play regularly for them in 2007.

Return to FC Tokyo

Kondo went back to FC Tokyo in 2008. However, he did not play as much that year because of an injury. In 2009, FC Tokyo won the 2009 J.League Cup again. Even though Kondo did not play as often as some other players, he was still part of the team that won this important trophy.

Time at Consadole Sapporo

In 2010, Kondo moved to Consadole Sapporo, another J2 League team. In 2011, he changed his position and played as a left midfielder. He played in all 38 matches that season, showing how important he was to the team. Consadole Sapporo finished third in the 2011 season and moved up to the J1 League. In 2012, he played many matches as a right midfielder. However, Consadole Sapporo finished last in the 2012 season.

Later Career and Retirement

In 2013, Kondo joined Tochigi SC, a J2 League club. He played regularly as a left midfielder for two seasons. In 2015, he moved to Giravanz Kitakyushu, another J2 team, but did not play much there. Later in 2015, he moved to AC Nagano Parceiro in the J3 League, which is the third division. In July 2016, he moved to SC Sagamihara, also in the J3 League. Yusuke Kondo decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2016 season.
