FC Zenit Saint Petersburg is a famous Russian football club. They are based in the beautiful city of Saint Petersburg. The club was officially started in 1925. However, some old Russian records suggest it might have begun even earlier, in 1914.

Zenit has achieved many great things in football. In 2007, they became champions of the Russian Premier League. This means they were the best team in Russia that year.
