Zvartnots-AAL Football Club (Armenian: Զվարթնոց-ՀԱՈւ Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ – Zvartnots-AAL Futbolayin Akumb) was a football team from Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. This club was special because it represented Armenian Airlines, an airline company. It was a professional football team that played in Armenia's top leagues. The club was founded in 1997 but stopped playing in 2003.

Club History
Starting Out in Armenian Football
Zvartnots-AAL Football Club started in February 1997. It was created by Armenian Airlines, which was the main airline of Armenia at that time. The team began its journey in the 1997 Armenian First League. In their first season, they finished in 8th place.
Climbing to the Top League
The team quickly got better. In the 1998 Armenian First League season, they became the champions! This big win meant they were promoted to the Armenian Premier League. The Premier League is the highest level of football in Armenia.
Playing in the Premier League
Once in the Premier League, Zvartnots-AAL became a strong team. They were seen as one of the main teams that could win the league title. In their very first Premier League season, they finished in an impressive fourth place. In 2001, they did even better, finishing second after FC Pyunik. This was their best result ever.
The End of the Club
Zvartnots-AAL was supposed to play in the 2003 Premier League season. However, before the season even started, the club decided to withdraw. They stopped playing and were disbanded. The team has not played any matches since then.
Zvartnots-AAL in European Competitions
Playing Against European Teams
Zvartnots-AAL also had a chance to play in European football competitions. These are big tournaments where clubs from different countries play against each other. The team played in the UEFA Cup during the 2002-2003 season.
Their UEFA Cup Match
In the UEFA Cup, Zvartnots-AAL played against a team called NK Primorje from Slovenia.
- In the first match, Zvartnots-AAL lost 1-6.
- But in the second match, they won 2-0!
Even though they won the second game, the total score from both matches meant they did not move forward in the competition. Still, it was a great experience for the team to play against clubs from other parts of Europe.
