Maria Àngels Chacón i Feixas, born in 1968, is a Spanish politician from Catalonia. She used to be a minister in the Catalan government, in charge of business and knowledge.

Early Life and Education
Àngels Chacón was born in 1968 in a place called Igualada, in Catalonia, Spain. She studied law at the University of Barcelona. She also became an expert in international trade, which means dealing with business between different countries.
Working Life and Public Service
Early Career in Business
Before becoming a politician, Àngels Chacón worked in the paper industry. She was an export director for several companies. This means she helped companies sell their products to other countries. From 2008 to 2011, she was the general-secretary of the Anoia Business Union. This group represents many businesses in the Anoia region.
Joining the Government
Àngels Chacón also worked on special projects to help cities grow economically. In June 2017, she was chosen to be the director-general of industry. This was part of the Catalan government's Department of Business and Knowledge.
Becoming a Local Politician
In 2011, Chacón ran for local elections in Igualada. She ran as an independent candidate with the Convergence and Union group. She was elected and became the second deputy mayor. Her job was to help with the economy, trade, and tourism in Igualada. She was re-elected in 2015. After that, she became the first deputy mayor, focusing on economy, knowledge, and international matters. Later, she joined the Catalan European Democratic Party (PDeCAT).
Minister in the Catalan Government
In May 2018, the new President of Catalonia, Quim Torra, wanted Àngels Chacón to be a minister. She was chosen to be the Minister of Enterprise and Knowledge. She officially started her role on June 2, 2018. She served in this important position until September 2020.
