Éternité Bay, also known as Baie Éternité in French, is a beautiful bay in Quebec, Canada. Its name means "Eternity Bay." It is located south of the Saguenay Fjord. This bay is part of the amazing Saguenay Fjord National Park. It is a great place to explore nature!

Exploring Éternité Bay
Éternité Bay is a long and narrow body of water. It stretches for about 2.5 kilometers (1.6 miles). The bay is about 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) wide. The Éternité River flows into the bay. This river joins the bay at its very end.
Deep Waters of the Saguenay Fjord
Right in front of Éternité Bay, the Saguenay Fjord reaches its deepest point. The water here goes down to an incredible 472 meters (1,549 feet). That's deeper than many tall buildings!
Famous Capes of the Bay
At the entrance of Éternité Bay, there are two large capes. A cape is a piece of land that sticks out into the water.
- Cap Trinité is on the northwest side. It stands tall at 411 meters (1,348 feet).
- Cap Éternité is on the southeast side. It is even taller, reaching 454 meters (1,490 feet).
History and Landmarks
On Cap Trinité, you can find a famous statue. It is called the statue of Notre-Dame-du-Saguenay. This statue is a well-known landmark in the area.
