Čavoglave is a small village in the Dalmatian Hinterland region of Croatia. It is home to about 190 people. The village is part of the Ružić municipality, which is in the Šibenik-Knin County.
Čavoglave is nestled between the Svilaja and Moseća mountains. It is also very close to where the Čikola river begins. A main road, the D56 highway, runs along the southern edge of the village. While not a typical tourist spot, Čavoglave has become well-known because of a famous folk rock song called "Bojna Čavoglave".

A Look at Čavoglave's Past
Čavoglave played an important role during the Croatian War of Independence in 1991. Even though it was right on the front lines, the village was never taken over. Many local people bravely helped defend their home during this time.
The village became famous because of the song "Bojna Čavoglave". This song was created by Marko Perković, who was born in Čavoglave. He is a well-known Croatian musician. Marko Perković also paid for the building of the Church of Croatian Martyrs in the village. This church honors the soldiers and civilians who lost their lives during the war.
Every year, Čavoglave hosts a special concert to celebrate Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day. This event also helps raise money for good causes.
