Örkelljunga Municipality (Örkelljunga kommun) is a special area in southern Sweden. It is part of Skåne County. The main town and administrative center of the municipality is called Örkelljunga.
This municipality was created in 1971. It was formed by joining the older Örkelljunga area with another area called Skånes-Fagerhult.

Örkelljunga Municipality is known for its exciting sports teams. The most famous team is the Örkelljunga Volleybollklubb. Both the men's and women's volleyball teams are very good. They often compete at the highest national level in Sweden. They have even won the national championship many times!
