The Story of Eddie McDowd
I'm Eddie McDowd, I'm a dog, and I talk. I used to be a kid, a bad kid, but then I mess with the wrong guy. ... He turned me into a dog. Can you believe this? That freak turned me into a dog! To be a kid again I have to do 100 good deeds, and the only person who can hear me talk is the last person I picked on. Now I'm living with this kid in this family, they love me! but they treat me like a dog.
The show is about a boy named Eddie McDowd (Jason Dohring) who loves to bully other kids at school. He thinks he's cool and powerful. One day, after picking on someone, he meets a mysterious man. This man tells Eddie that because he's been a bully, he will be punished.
Eddie's Canine Transformation
The mystical man turns Eddie into a dog! To become human again, Eddie has to do 100 good deeds for others. The only person who can understand Eddie when he talks is Justin Taylor. Justin was the very last kid Eddie bullied.
Working Towards Redemption
At first, Eddie and Justin don't like the idea of working together. But Eddie soon realizes he needs Justin's help. He has to live with Justin's family and act like a normal dog. Every time Eddie does a good deed, the mysterious man appears. He shows Eddie how many good deeds he has left. Sometimes, if Eddie misbehaves, he loses a good deed. The show ended before Eddie could finish all 100 deeds.
