What is the Champions League Group Stage?
The UEFA Champions League is one of the biggest football tournaments in the world for club teams. The group stage is the first main part of the competition.
- Teams are divided into groups, usually with four teams in each group.
- Every team plays against every other team in their group twice: once at home and once away.
- Teams earn points for their matches: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss.

- Arsenal had a tougher time but managed to secure second place.
- One of Bayern's impressive wins was a 5-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb, where Robert Lewandowski scored three goals.
- Arsenal also had a crucial 3-0 win against Olympiakos to make sure they qualified for the next round. Olivier Giroud scored all three goals in that important match.
