The 2021 FIFA Confederations Cup was expected to be the 11th FIFA Confederations Cup tournament. It is now deceased as the plans to expand the FIFA Club World Cup in 2021 were approved.

Replacement

In October 2017, FIFA planned to get rid of the Confederations Cup by 2021 in favor of an expanded FIFA Club World Cup and move the latter from December to June, holding it every four years.
