The 2024 Women's FIH Olympic Qualifiers was a big field hockey tournament. It was the last chance for women's teams to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. This exciting event took place from January 13 to 20, 2024. Matches were held in two different cities: Ranchi, India, and Valencia, Spain.

Six teams earned their spots in the Olympics through this tournament. These teams were Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Spain, and the United States.

How Teams Qualified

Teams that didn't make it to the Olympics through their own continent's tournaments got another chance here. The International Hockey Federation (FIH) decided how many spots each region would get.

There were 16 teams in total. They were split into two separate tournaments, each with eight teams. In each of these two tournaments, the eight teams were divided into two groups of four. After playing everyone in their group, the top two teams from each group moved on to the semi-finals. The top three teams from each of these two tournaments earned a spot in the Olympics.
