Aaron Dantianto Pearson, born on August 22, 1964, is a former American professional football player. He played as a linebacker for three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are a team in the National Football League (NFL). He was chosen by the Chiefs in the 1986 NFL draft. Before playing professionally, he played college football at Itawamba Junior College and Mississippi State University.
Early Life and College Football
Aaron Dantianto Pearson was born in Gadsden, Alabama, on August 22, 1964. He went to Gadsden High School.
Pearson started his college football career at Itawamba Junior College. He played there from 1982 to 1983. After that, he moved to Mississippi State University. He played for the Mississippi State Bulldogs for two years, in 1984 and 1985. In 1984, he was recognized as a second-team All-SEC player. This award came from the Associated Press.
Professional Football Career
The Kansas City Chiefs picked Aaron Pearson in the 1986 NFL draft. He was the 285th player chosen overall. He officially joined the team on July 23, 1986.
In his first year, 1986, he played in 15 games for the Chiefs. He also played in one playoff game that season. In 1987, he played in 12 games and started nine of them. The 1987 season was shorter than usual. For the 1988 season, he played in all 16 games. He started ten of those games.
After the 1988 season, he became a free agent. He then signed again with the Chiefs. However, he was released by the team on July 23, 1989.
