The Abbott Run stream begins its journey at Miscoe Lake. This lake is located right on the border between Wrentham, Massachusetts and Cumberland, Rhode Island.

• Starting in Rhode Island: From Miscoe Lake, Abbott Run flows south into Cumberland, Rhode Island. As it travels through Cumberland, it helps fill several ponds. These include important water bodies like Diamond Hill Reservoir, Arnold Mills Reservoir, and Rawson Pond.
• Back to Massachusetts: After its time in Rhode Island, the stream flows back into Massachusetts. Here, it passes through North Attleborough. It even flows past a small area called Adamsdale.
• Finishing in Rhode Island: Finally, Abbott Run returns to Rhode Island one last time. It continues through Cumberland, providing water to Robin Hollow and Happy Hollow Ponds. Its journey ends when it flows into the Blackstone River near the village of Valley Falls.
