Adam Frost is a British author born on August 21, 1972. He is well-known for writing exciting books for children. Some of his most famous books include Ralph the Magic Rabbit, The Epic Book of Epicness, and The Awesome Book of Space. These books have even won special awards! His Early Life and Education

Adam Frost was born in a town called Epping in England. He grew up nearby in Buckhurst Hill, Essex. He went to Buckhurst Hill County High School. Later, he studied English Literature at the University of Oxford. He also earned a special degree called a PhD from the University of Cambridge.

His Career as an Author

Adam Frost published his very first book, Ralph the Magic Rabbit, in 2006. This book was so good that it was chosen as a finalist for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize. In 2008, he released his second book, Harry, Rabbit on the Run.

He also created the exciting Danny Danger series in 2011 and 2012. These books are about an 8-year-old boy named Danny. Danny has a super cool remote control that can rewind, fast forward, and even pause time!

From 2012 to 2013, Adam Frost wrote a series of books for London Zoo. These stories were about a zookeeper and his family. In 2014, he wrote his first non-fiction book, The Awesome Book of Awesomeness. His next non-fiction book, The Epic Book of Epicness, came out in 2015. It won the 2016 Blue Peter Book Award for being the Best Book with Facts.

The Fox Investigates series started in 2015. These books follow the adventures of a clever fox who works as a private detective. The first book in this series, A Brush with Danger, was also recognized for its quality in 2016.

His Work in Information Graphics

Adam Frost also designs special pictures called information graphics. He creates these for The Guardian and other publications. These graphics help explain complicated information in a simple, visual way. One of his graphics, called ‘The 39 Stats’, won a Silver Medal in 2013. He has made graphics about many different topics, like old Gothic novels and even how to eat insects! He also co-wrote a book about designing information, which came out in 2021.
