In the past, there were two communities on the east side of Adams Hollow Creek. These places were called Harriman and Pine Grove. Today, these communities are part of Bristol Borough.

One of the bridges over the creek has a long history. The bridge on Radcliffe Street was built in 1911. It was made to replace an older bridge that was known as King's Bridge.
