Adi Bielski (born January 28, 1982) is a talented Israeli actress. She performs in both theatre plays and movies. Adi was born in Jerusalem and grew up in Ra’anana, Israel.
Learning and Growing
Adi Bielski started dancing when she was only 3 years old. For 15 years, she learned ballet and modern dance. She also took drama classes as a child. In high school, she studied theater as part of her program.
When she was 18, Adi joined the Israel Defense Forces. She worked as an Education Officer. Later, she became a commander for training courses.
From 2004 to 2007, Adi studied acting at the Yoram Loewenstein Performing Arts Studio in Tel Aviv. This is one of Israel’s top acting schools. During her studies, she won a special scholarship from the "America-Israel Cultural Foundation." She also received other awards from her school.
Adi's Acting Journey
After finishing acting school in 2007, Adi Bielski quickly started appearing in plays. She was in shows like "It Runs in the Family". She also had a guest role on a "Yes" TV series.
In 2008, Adi got a big role in a "one-woman show" called "An Israeli Love Story". In a one-woman show, one actress plays all the characters. This play was written and directed by Pnina Gary. It tells Gary’s own true life story.
Another important role for Adi in 2008 was playing "Maya" in "Alma and Ruth" at the Beit Lessin Theater.
Adi also appeared in many TV commercials. She was in ads for "Elite Turkish Coffee," "Bank Hapoalim," "Soglowek," "Shufersal," "Maccabi Health Care Services," "Mey Eden," and "Sano."
In 2009, Adi won the Israeli "Best Actress" Award in Fringe Theater. She won for playing many characters in "An Israeli Love Story."
On March 28, 2011, they celebrated 250 shows of "An Israeli Love Story." The play was performed at Tel Aviv’s Cameri Theater. The Israeli Minister of Culture, Mrs Limor Livnat, attended the celebration.
"An Israeli Love Story" was also performed in English. It was shown at a festival in Leeds in 2009. It also played at the "New End Theatre" in London in 2010. In September 2011, it was performed in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, and Washington DC. The show also played in Toronto in 2014.
In 2010, Adi was chosen for the main female role in the British film "The Veteran." She was cast after people saw her perform in London. The film also starred Toby Kebbell.
In 2012, Adi performed in "My Name is Yuda." This was a poetry theater show based on poems by Yehuda Amichai. That same year, she won the Best Actress award at the Cyprus International Film Festival. She won for her role in the short film "Salt of the Earth."
In 2016, a film called "Sipur Ahava Eretz-Israeli" was released. This film, in Hebrew, starred Adi Bielski. It was directed by Dan Wolman. The movie was based on Pnina Gary's life story and the one-woman play.

Life Outside Acting
In 2009, Adi Bielski married actor Yaniv Adani. They have two sons. Their first son was born in 2010, and their second son was born in 2012.
