Tobias Alistair Patrick Kebbell (born on July 9, 1982) is an English actor. He is well-known for his roles in many movies. Some of these include Dead Man's Shoes (2004), Control (2007), and RocknRolla (2008). He also appeared in big films like Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) and War Horse (2011).
More recently, he was in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), Fantastic Four (2015), and Warcraft (2016). Toby Kebbell also played a part in the TV show Black Mirror in 2011. He was also in the movie Kong: Skull Island (2017) and the Apple TV+ series Servant (2019–2023). His recent work includes Bloodshot (2020) and For All Mankind (2023–2024).

Early Life and Education
Toby Kebbell was born on July 9, 1982, in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England. He is the fourth of five children in his family. He grew up in Nottinghamshire and went to The Grove School there. This school is now known as the Newark Academy.
Toby was raised by his mother, Michelle, who was a cook and gardener. His father, Robert Kebbell, was an engineer from Zimbabwe. Toby was raised Catholic and attended a Catholic primary school. He studied acting at the Central Junior Television Workshop in Nottingham. Other famous actors like Andrew Shim and Vicky McClure also trained there.
Acting Career Highlights
Toby Kebbell's first movie role was in Dead Man's Shoes in 2004. He played a young man named Anthony. For this role, he was nominated for an award as a promising new actor. In the same year, he appeared in Alexander and Match Point.
Breakthrough Roles
In 2007, Kebbell played Rob Gretton in the movie Control. This film was about the band Joy Division. His performance won him the Best Supporting Actor Award at the British Independent Film Awards 2007. He was also nominated for another award by the London Film Critics Circle Awards 2007.
In 2008, Toby Kebbell starred in RocknRolla, directed by Guy Ritchie. He played Johnny Quid, a musician. This role earned him a nomination for the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2009. He also appeared in the 2009 film Cheri. In 2010, he filmed Prince of Persia: Sands of Time in Morocco and London.
