Tobias Alistair Patrick Kebbell (born on July 9, 1982) is an English actor. He is famous for playing different characters in many movies and TV shows. You might know him from films like Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), where he played Koba, or Warcraft (2016), where he was Durotan.
He also appeared in Kong: Skull Island (2017). On TV, he starred in the series Servant (2019–2023) and For All Mankind (2023–2024).

Early Life and Training
Toby Kebbell was born in Pontefract, England. He is the fourth of five children. He grew up in Nottinghamshire. His mother, Michelle, was a cook and gardener. His father, Robert, was an engineer.
Toby went to a Catholic primary school. He later trained to be an actor at the Central Junior Television Workshop in Nottingham. Other famous actors like Andrew Shim and Vicky McClure also trained there.
Toby's Acting Career
Toby Kebbell's first movie role was in Dead Man's Shoes (2004). He played a young man named Anthony. For this role, he was nominated for an award as a promising new actor. In the same year, he appeared in Alexander and Match Point.
In 2007, Toby played Rob Gretton in the movie Control. Rob Gretton was the manager of the band Joy Division. Toby won an award for Best Supporting Actor for this role. He was also nominated for another award by the London Film Critics Circle.
Toby also worked on TV shows for the BBC. He was in an episode of The Street in 2007. This show later won an award for Best Drama series. He also acted in a modern version of Macbeth.
In 2008, Toby starred in RocknRolla, a movie directed by Guy Ritchie. He acted alongside stars like Tom Wilkinson and Gerard Butler. He was nominated for an Empire Award for Best Newcomer.
He appeared in the movie Prince of Persia: Sands of Time in 2010. He filmed parts of this movie in Morocco and London.
Big Roles in Sci-Fi and Fantasy
In 2011, Toby had a main role in an episode of Black Mirror called "The Entire History of You". This episode was very popular.
In 2014, Toby took on the role of Koba in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Koba is a chimpanzee character in the movie.
He also played the villain Doctor Doom in the 2015 Fantastic Four movie. In 2016, he played an orc named Durotan in the movie Warcraft.
Toby played Jack Chapman in the monster movie Kong: Skull Island (2017). He also helped with the motion capture for Kong himself! This means his movements were used to create the giant ape on screen.
