The Story of Wrath of the Titans
Perseus's Quiet Life and a New Threat
Ten years have passed since Perseus bravely fought the giant Kraken. Now, he lives a calm life as a fisherman and a single father, raising his son Helius.
One day, Zeus, the king of the gods, visits Perseus. Zeus tells him that Kronos, the powerful leader of the Titans, is breaking free from the Tartarus. Tartarus is a deep prison where the Titans are held.
The walls of Tartarus are crumbling because humans are not praying to the gods as much. This lack of prayers is also making the gods lose their special power of immortality. Zeus asks Perseus for help, but Perseus says no. He wants to keep his family safe.
Zeus's Capture and the Titans' Escape
Zeus then travels to the Underworld to meet his brothers, Hades and Poseidon, and his son, Ares. Zeus asks Hades for help to fix the crumbling walls of Tartarus.
But Hades refuses and attacks Zeus! Ares, Zeus's own son, betrays his father. Ares captures Zeus and steals his powerful thunderbolt. Hades and Ares plan to make a deal with Kronos. They will use Zeus's divine power to bring Kronos back to full strength. In return, Hades and Ares will remain immortal.
As a result of their actions, the walls of Tartarus break down even more. The mighty Titans are set free from their prison!
Perseus's New Quest
Soon after, a scary monster called a chimera attacks Perseus's village. Perseus fights and defeats it. After this, he decides to go to the Underworld to find Zeus.
Instead of Zeus, Perseus finds Poseidon, who is badly hurt. Poseidon tells Perseus what has happened. He then tells Perseus to find his own son, Agenor, who is a demigod. Agenor will lead Perseus to the god of blacksmiths, Hephaestus.
Poseidon gives Perseus his special trident. Then, Poseidon dies from his injuries, turning into dust.
Finding Hephaestus and the Spear of Trium
Perseus, along with Andromeda and Agenor, travels to a secret island to find Hephaestus. Agenor explains that Hephaestus made the powerful weapons used by Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. These weapons are the thunderbolt, the trident, and the pitchfork.
Agenor reveals that if these three weapons are brought together, they can form the Spear of Trium. This powerful spear is the only thing that can destroy Kronos.
