Adrian Clive Hayday (born in April 1956) is a British scientist. He is an immunologist, which means he studies the body's immune system. He is a leading professor at King's College London and also works at the Francis Crick Institute in the UK.

Adrian Hayday went to Queens' College, Cambridge University. In 1978, he earned a degree in natural sciences, focusing on biochemistry. Later, he completed his PhD in 1982 at Imperial College London. His PhD research was about tiny viruses called Polyomaviridae.

In 1982, Adrian Hayday began studying immunology. He worked as a researcher at MIT with Susumu Tonegawa. There, he discovered how certain genes become active in a type of cancer called Burkitt's lymphoma.
