A Look Back: Aesch's History
Aesch has a long history! It was first written about around the year 1150. Back then, its name was spelled Esche. A little later, between 1184 and 1190, people started calling it Asce.

Aesch is located in the beautiful Seetal valley. It sits right on the shore of Lake Hallwil. You can find it along the main road that connects the cities of Lucerne and Fahrwangen.
