Albert Latimer, born on October 14, 1957, is a former American football player. He played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). His career included time with the Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions.
Before joining the NFL, Latimer played college football. He attended both Ferrum College and Clemson University.

Early Life and High School
Albert Latimer was born in Winter Park, Florida. He grew up and went to high school in Longwood, Florida. He attended Lyman High School.
College Football Journey
Latimer started his college football career at Ferrum College. He played there from 1975 to 1976. During his time at Ferrum, he was a starting player for two years. He also competed in track and field events.
After Ferrum, he joined the Clemson Tigers. He played for Clemson from 1977 to 1978. In 1978, he earned a "letterman" title, which means he was a key player. In 2004, Ferrum College honored him by adding him to their athletics hall of fame.
Playing in the NFL
After college, Albert Latimer was not chosen in the 1979 NFL draft. However, he still got a chance to play professionally. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in May 1979.
Time with the Eagles
Latimer played in 13 games for the Eagles in his first year, 1979. He was later placed on injured reserve, meaning he couldn't play due to an injury. He was released by the Eagles in October 1980.
Short Stints with Other Teams
In October 1980, Latimer briefly joined the San Francisco 49ers. He did not play in any games for them. He was released by the 49ers in November 1980.

Playing for the Detroit Lions
