Alex Brooker is a well-known English journalist and TV presenter. He was born on May 15, 1984. Many people know him from his work on Channel 4.

Since 2012, Alex has been a co-host on The Last Leg. This is a popular Channel 4 show he presents with Adam Hills and Josh Widdicombe. He also co-presented The Jump in 2014. Early Life and Education

Alex Brooker went to Norton Knatchbull School in Ashford, Kent. After that, he studied at Liverpool John Moores University. He graduated in 2006. His first job was as a sports reporter for the Liverpool Echo newspaper. Later, he started working for the Press Association.

Getting into Television

In 2012, Alex joined Channel 4's Half a Million Quid Talent Search. This search aimed to find disabled people to work on TV. They wanted new presenters for the 2012 Summer Paralympic Games and other shows. Alex first appeared as a reporter for Channel 4's coverage of the 2011 BT Paralympic World Cup.

During the 2012 Summer Paralympics opening ceremony, Alex interviewed important people. These included Boris Johnson and David Cameron. He also became a co-host on The Last Leg with Adam Hills. In 2014, Alex married Lynsey. She is an accountant. They have two daughters together. Alex is also a big fan of Arsenal F.C., a famous football team. He often talks about them on a podcast called Footballistically Arsenal.

Charity Work

Alex Brooker is very involved in charity work. In May 2014, he led a campaign called "End The Awkward". This campaign was for the disability charity Scope. It used comedy to help people feel more comfortable around disabled people. Alex appeared in adverts showing how to handle awkward situations.

In September 2012, Alex and Josh Widdicombe won money on The Million Pound Drop Live. They played for charities like Echoes Foundation and Scope Joseph's Goal. Alex is also an official ambassador for Legs4Africa. This charity helps people in Africa who have lost their limbs.
