The Alexander Dennis Enviro200 is a popular type of bus. It's a single-decker, meaning it only has one level for passengers. It's also a low-floor bus, which makes it easy for everyone to get on and off. This bus is a midibus, which means it's a bit smaller than a full-sized bus. It was first made in 2003 by a company called TransBus International. Later, another company, Alexander Dennis, took over making it. They have built this bus in three main versions, called generations.

Understanding the Enviro200 Bus Series

The Enviro200 has been updated several times since it was first made. Each major update is called a "generation." Think of it like different versions of a video game or phone.

First Generation: The Beginning (2003–2007)

The very first version of this bus was called the TransBus Enviro200. It was introduced in 2003. This was the original design that started it all.

Second Generation: New Look (2006–2015)

A newer version of the Enviro200 came out in August 2006. This second generation had some changes and improvements. It was built for many years, becoming a common sight on roads.

Third Generation: Major Changes (2015–Present)

The newest version of the Enviro200 was launched in May 2015. This one is called the Enviro200 MMC. The "MMC" stands for "Major Model Change." This means it had a lot of big updates to its design and features.
