Alexandre Vauthier's Fashion Journey
Alexandre Vauthier studied at the ESMOD fashion school from 1991 to 1994. This is where he learned the basics of fashion design.
Early Career and Mentors
After school, he trained with the famous designer Thierry Mugler. He learned a lot about being creative and finding quick solutions. Vauthier said his time with Mugler was very important for his growth.
In 1997, he moved to work for Jean Paul Gaultier. For eight years, he was the head designer for Gaultier's couture collections. This gave him a lot of experience in creating unique, high-fashion pieces.
Starting His Own Brand
In 2009, Alexandre Vauthier launched his own fashion label. He held his first fashion show during Paris Fashion Week. Since then, the famous shoe designer Christian Louboutin has created the shoes for Vauthier's shows.

Vauthier has worked on many exciting projects. In 2010, he designed a clothing line for the company 3 Suisses.
In 2011, he helped style Beyoncé for her album 4. He also designed special holiday cakes for a famous Paris store, Le Bon Marché.
In 2012, he became the art director for the Pyrenex brand's Premium range. That same year, Madonna chose him to create her look for her single Girl Gone Wild.
