Alfta GIF is a cool sports club from Alfta, a town in Sweden. It was started a long time ago, on November 10, 1900! This club is home to several exciting sports.
Right now, Alfta GIF is active in handball, ice hockey, and soccer. In the past, they also had a bandy team. Their men's bandy team was really good and even played in Sweden's top league in 1941. The men's soccer team also did well, playing in the third division. The ice hockey part of the club began in 1947. Other sports like skiing and track and field athletics used to be part of the club but stopped in 2002.
