Alexus Geier (born November 6, 1996), known as Alix Lapri, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born in Topeka, Kansas. Alix Lapri became well-known for playing the character Effie Morales in the TV shows Power and its spin-off, Power Book II: Ghost.
Alix Lapri started her music journey by signing with Crown World Entertainment in 2011. She also became friends with Jacob Latimore, who was with the same company. They often sang cover songs together, like "My Boo" by Usher and Alicia Keys. In 2012, Alix Lapri released her first music collection, an extended play (EP) called I Am Alix Lapri. This EP was available for free and received good reviews.
Her acting career began in 2012. She appeared in a few episodes of Reed Between the Lines. Later, she had roles in other TV shows like Red Band Society (2014). She also acted in movies such as Den of Thieves (2018).

Alix Lapri was born on November 6, 1996, in Topeka, Kansas. Her mother is Lynn Geier. Alix is the oldest of three children. She showed a strong interest in music from a very young age.
Starting Her Career: Music and Acting (2011–2013)
In July 2011, Alix Lapri released a new version of Jawan Harris's song "Keisha," which she called "Forget Keisha." This song became very popular on BET's 106 & Park. The next month, she and her label mate, Jacob Latimore, recorded a cover of "My Boo" by Alicia Keys and Usher. In December, Alix Lapri was featured on Jawan Harris's It's On! mixtape.
In January 2012, she was on Issa's mixtape, King Issa. In July, Alix Lapri released her first EP, I Am Alix Lapri. This music collection was free to download and got positive feedback. Crown World Entertainment planned a "No. 1 Girl Power Tour" with Alix Lapri and other artists, but it was canceled. In October, she appeared on the TV show Reed Between the Lines as Nataya.
In November 2012, Alix sang the National Anthem at a WNBA basketball game. She was also featured on Jacob Latimore's This Is Me mixtape. Alix Lapri, Jacob Latimore, and Justin Martin were the first artists signed to Crown World Entertainment. In December, she was on the cover of Sesi Magazine. She also recorded a cover of "Nobody's Business" with Rick of Bluff City. In May 2013, Alix Lapri was featured on the cover of G3 Magazine. She also starred in the movie Standing Up, playing the role of Tiwana. The film was released in August 2013.

In 2014, Alix Lapri guest-starred in Red Band Society as Quinby. She also played Brittany in Core: A Short Film About Bullying, which was filmed earlier. In 2015, Jacob Latimore and Alix Lapri released a cover of "Throw Summo" by Rae Sremmurd. She also covered "Wish Your Love Away" by Brandy. They attended the 2015 Kids Choice Awards together. Alix Lapri talked about her large YouTube fan base and finding a new sound for her music. She covered Cher Lloyd's "With Ur Love" and released a music video for it. In 2016, Alix Lapri released "5 Mo Minutes" with Brandon Rossi. She also covered "Too Good" by Drake.
In 2017, it was announced that Alix Lapri would join Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker in Downsized. This movie is about a couple who become parents as teenagers and work to build a good life for their family. Alix Lapri also starred alongside Gerard Butler and 50 Cent in the movie Den of Thieves. In this film, she played Maloa. Den of Thieves is about a thief caught between two groups of criminals while planning a bank heist. It was released on January 19, 2018.
