Allan Enzo Cruz Leal (born on February 24, 1996) is a professional football player from Costa Rica. He plays as a midfielder for the club Herediano. Allan also plays for the Costa Rica national team.

Allan Cruz's Club Journey
Allan Cruz started his football journey in Costa Rica. He has played for several clubs, showing his skills as a midfielder.
Starting with Uruguay de Coronado
Allan was born in Nicoya, a town in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. He began his career with Uruguay de Coronado. This club was part of Costa Rica's top football league, the Primera División.
Allan made his first professional appearance on August 29, 2015. His team won that game 2–0 against Saprissa. Before this, he had a short loan period with Generación Saprissa. On November 7, Allan scored his first goal for Uruguay de Coronado. It was in a game against Santos de Guápiles.
Playing for Herediano
Before the 2017–18 season, Allan joined Herediano. He played his first game for them on July 29, 2017. It was a 0–0 draw against Guadalupe.
His first goal for Herediano came on January 20, 2018. It was a winning goal in a 1–0 home game against Saprissa. In his first season with Herediano, Allan played in 46 matches and scored 3 goals.
Allan also played in the CONCACAF Champions League for Herediano. This is a big tournament for clubs in North and Central America. In 2018, he helped Herediano reach the final of the CONCACAF League. He even scored a goal in the first game of the final. Herediano won the tournament overall.
In December 2018, Allan helped Herediano win the 2018 Apertura championship. He played in the final game where Herediano won the title.
Moving to FC Cincinnati
On January 18, 2019, Allan signed with FC Cincinnati. This club plays in Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States. It was their first season in the league.
He played his first game for FC Cincinnati on March 10, 2019. It was a 1–1 draw against Atlanta United. Allan scored his first goal for the team in their next match. It was against the Portland Timbers. His goal helped FC Cincinnati win 3–0. In his first season with FC Cincinnati, Allan scored 7 goals in 22 matches.
On March 1, 2020, Allan scored FC Cincinnati's first goal of the 2020 season. He left FC Cincinnati after the 2022 season.

Allan Cruz has also played for his country, Costa Rica.
In September 2018, he was called to join the Costa Rica national team. He played his first game for Costa Rica on September 7, 2018. On November 20, 2018, Allan scored his first goal for Costa Rica. It was in a 3–2 win against Peru.
In June 2019, Allan was chosen to play in the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup. This is a major tournament for national teams in North and Central America. He scored Costa Rica's third goal in their first game. They won 3–0 against Nicaragua.
