Dan Allan Waldemar Svensson (born February 16, 1951 – died November 17, 2024) was a famous Swedish actor. Many people knew him best for playing Gustav Svensson in the popular TV comedy show Svensson, Svensson. He acted in movies, on TV, and in plays. He also had his own film company called Ridåfall AB.

Allan Svensson's Acting Journey
Allan Svensson was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He grew up in Tranemo. When he was seventeen, he moved to Värnamo to finish high school. In the late 1970s, he began studying acting. He first attended Skara Skolscen. After that, he went to Teaterhögskolan in Gothenburg.
Early Roles and Stage Work
Allan Svensson's first TV role was as Erik in the show Hedebyborna. He worked with the Stockholm Stadsteater group. He also acted in many films and TV shows. Sometimes, he even directed plays. His roles were very different. He played Cyrano at Oscarsteatern. He also played the everyday Swedish character Gustav Svensson. This was in the SVT comedy show Svensson, Svensson. He also played RF Simpson in the Swedish version of the musical Singing in the Rain.
Later Career and Special Appearances
In the summer of 2007, Svensson performed in a comedy play. It was called Kuta och Kör in Växjö. He had the main role in this play. Also in 2007, Svensson played Santa Claus on Julkalendern, a popular Christmas calendar show on SVT. In 2008, he acted in the TV4 miniseries Maria Wern – Främmande fågel. He starred alongside Eva Röse in this series.
In November 2013, Svensson shared exciting news. He was going to play "Kapten Klänning," also known as Göran Lindberg. This play, "Fallet Kapten Klänning," was shown at Uppsala Stadsteater in Uppsala. In the summer of 2014, Svensson worked with Robert Gustafsson. They performed in a play called "Charmörer på vift." This play was at the Krusenstiernska outdoor theater. Linda Olsson also appeared in the play as Yvette.
Allan Svensson passed away on November 17, 2024, at 73 years old.
