Alsike is a small town, also called a locality, in Knivsta Municipality in Uppsala County in Sweden. In 2010, about 2,681 people lived there. Alsike is located about 50 kilometers (around 31 miles) north of Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden. It is also about 25 kilometers (around 15 miles) away from Arlanda Airport, which is a major airport.

Alsike is in the Uppland province of Sweden. It's a place with some interesting history.
The Ingegerdsleden Trail
Alsike is located along a special path called the Ingegerdsleden. This is a historic pilgrimage route. A pilgrimage route is a long path that people used to walk for religious reasons, often visiting important churches or holy places along the way. The Ingegerdsleden connects the Uppsala Cathedral and the Stockholm Cathedral.
Alsike Abbey
