Alustante is a small town in Spain. It is located in the province of Guadalajara, which is part of the Castile-La Mancha region. In 2018, about 157 people lived there.

Alustante is in the southeast of the Guadalajara province. It is about 190 kilometers (118 miles) from the capital city, Guadalajara. It is also close to other cities like Teruel and Cuenca.

The town is in the northeast part of the Albarracín Mountain Ranges. These mountains are part of the Iberian Mountains.

The economy of Alustante mainly relies on two things: farming and timber. Timber means cutting down trees for wood. Many people who visit Alustante on weekends or holidays have also helped the economy. They have created jobs in construction and public services.

Currently, Alustante has several businesses. There are four farms that raise sheep. There are also two building companies and one stone factory. You can find a building supply store, two timber factories, and two food shops. The town also has a bar, a butcher's shop, and three rural homes for visitors.
