Alvo is a small village located in Cass County, Nebraska, in the United States. It's a quiet place with a population of 115 people, according to the 2020 census. Even though it's small, Alvo has its own unique history and a close-knit community.

History of Alvo
Alvo was started around 1892. This happened when a railroad company, the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad, extended its tracks to this area. People say the community was named after a girl called Alvo. She was reportedly the first white child born in the new settlement, and her father was a railroad official.

Alvo is located at 40°52′20″N 96°23′8″W / 40.87222°N 96.38556°W. This means it's in the eastern part of Nebraska.
