Amber Chia (simplified Chinese: 谢丽萍; traditional Chinese: 謝麗萍; Jyutping: Ze6 Lai6 Ping4; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Chiā Lê-phêng, pinyin: Xiè Lìpíng), born on December 14, 1981, is a famous Malaysian model, actress, and TV host. She is also a brand ambassador for many products. Amber was born in Teluk Intan, Malaysia. She grew up in the town of Tawau in Sabah, East Malaysia. In 2009, Amber started her own company called Amber Creations. She also opened a modeling school, Amber Chia Academy, in 2010.

Amber Chia was born in Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia. When she was only eight years old, her foster parents took care of her. This was because her birth parents faced difficulties. At age 12, Amber moved back to Tawau, Sabah.
Working to Help Family
Amber stopped going to school when she was 15. She started working full-time to help her family. She had three different jobs to earn money. In the mornings, she sold fish at the market. During the day, she worked as a salesgirl at a small local mall. At night, she was a cashier at a pub.
Modeling Career Highlights
Amber Chia has achieved many great things in her modeling career. She won the Guess Watches Timeless Beauty International Model Search in 2004. This made her the first Asian model to be featured in Guess Watches campaigns around the world.
International Recognition
In 2009, famous designer Victoria Beckham chose Amber. Amber presented Victoria Beckham's Autumn/Winter 2009 Ready to Wear Collection. This special event took place during the New York Fashion Week.
Personal Life
Amber Chia married her business partner and manager, Adrian Wong, in March 2010. Adrian Wong is the founder and director of a company called CMG Absolute. He had two children from a previous marriage.
Family Life
Amber and Adrian have a son together named Ashton Wong. Ashton was born in September 2010. He has also become a child model. In March 2024, Amber shared that she and Adrian had separated more than two years before. However, they remain good friends.
