History of Andale
Andale started as a community in the early 1880s. Its name is a mix of two early families' last names: the Andersons and the Dales. They were some of the first people to settle there.
The first post office in Andale opened in January 1899. This made it easier for people to send and receive mail. Andale was also an important stop for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Trains would stop there to pick up and drop off goods.
