Starting Her TV Journey
Andreea began her career in 1994. She worked as an emcee at TVR Iași, a television station. Her work in Romanian media helped her become known as a very successful female media person in the country.

On December 2, 2006, Andreea Marin hosted the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. This is a big music competition for young singers. She also announced the votes from Romania for the main Eurovision Song Contest finals in 2000, 2004, 2006, and 2007.

In 2014, Andreea married physician Tuncay Öztürk. They announced the end of their marriage in October 2016. Their divorce was officially completed on February 13, 2017.
