Andreea Violeta Marin (born December 22, 1974, in Roman, Neamț County) is a famous Romanian television presenter. She is well-known for hosting many popular TV shows.
Early Life and TV Career
Andreea Marin studied many subjects in college. These included Journalism, Public Relations, and Computer Programming. She started her TV career in 1994 at TVR Iași, where she worked as a host.
Becoming a TV Star
Andreea became one of the most successful women in Romanian media. On December 2, 2006, she hosted the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She also announced the votes from Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest finals in 2000, 2004, 2006, and 2007.
Since 1999, Andreea has hosted and directed Surprize, Surprize ("Surprises, Surprises"). This was a long-running TV show on TVR1. The show shared life stories about people facing challenges.
Andreea Marin also holds important roles outside of TV hosting. She is the communications director for Prime Time World Broadcast, a company based in Madrid. She is also the editorial director for the Romanian version of Business Woman Magazine.
Personal Life
Andreea Marin married Ștefan Bănică Jr. in 2006. For a while, she was known as Andreea Marin Bănică. They have a daughter named Ana Violeta Bănică, who was born on December 15, 2007. The couple later divorced in 2013.
In 2014, she married physician Tuncay Öztürk. They announced the end of their marriage in October 2016. Their divorce was finalized on February 13, 2017.
