Andrew Donald DeClercq (born February 1, 1973) is a former American professional basketball player. He played as a center and power forward. Andrew spent ten seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the University of Florida. After college, he joined NBA teams like the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Orlando Magic.

Early Life and College Basketball
Andrew DeClercq was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1973. He loved basketball from a young age. He earned a sports scholarship to the University of Florida. There, he played for the Florida Gators men's basketball team. His coach was Lon Kruger.
Andrew played for the Gators from 1991 to 1995. He was a very important player for the team. In 1994, he helped the Gators reach the NCAA Final Four for the first time ever. This is a huge achievement in college basketball. In 1995, Andrew graduated from Florida. He earned a bachelor's degree in history.
Playing in the NBA
After college, Andrew was ready for the pros. The Golden State Warriors picked him in the 1995 NBA draft. He was the thirty-fourth player chosen overall. Andrew played for the Warriors for two seasons.
Later, he played for other famous NBA teams. These included the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers. His last team was the Orlando Magic. Throughout his NBA career, Andrew played ten seasons. He averaged 4.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
After His Playing Career
After retiring from playing in the NBA, Andrew became a coach. He was an assistant coach for the boys' basketball team at Montverde Academy. This team was very highly ranked nationally.
In 2010, Andrew became a head coach. He led the boys' varsity team at Foundation Academy. He also taught physical education there. Andrew used to run youth basketball camps and training. These programs helped young players in central Florida.
Today, Andrew DeClercq lives in Clermont, Florida. As of 2017, he works as an executive pastor. He serves at HighPoint Church in Ocoee, Florida.
