Andrew Neiderman, born on October 26, 1940, is an American writer. He is known for writing many novels. He also became a "ghostwriter" for another famous author, V. C. Andrews, after she passed away in 1986. Before becoming a full-time writer, Mr. Neiderman taught English at Fallsburg Jr./Sr. High School in New York.

About Andrew Neiderman's Writing Career

Andrew Neiderman is perhaps most famous for his book The Devil's Advocate. This novel was later made into a popular movie in 1997. The film starred well-known actors like Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, and Charlize Theron. It was directed by Taylor Hackford.

His Work as a Ghostwriter

After V. C. Andrews died, Andrew Neiderman took over writing books under her name. This means he became her ghostwriter. He continued her popular series, keeping her stories alive for her fans. He even adapted one of these novels, Rain, into a film in 2006.

Other Creative Projects

Mr. Neiderman has also worked on stage productions. He wrote the play version of Flowers in the Attic, which was based on a novel by V.C. Andrews. This play was first performed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in August 2015. He also wrote the story for a musical version of The Devil's Advocate.
