Meet the Characters of Angelmouse
Who is Angelmouse?
- Angelmouse - He is a friendly mouse who is also an angel. He lives on Earth with his friend Quilly. Angelmouse gets special jobs from "You-know-who" (who is God) to do good things. He has wings and a special "thingamajig," which is like a halo. This halo can sometimes get loose, shrink, or even disappear if Angelmouse doesn't behave or forgets his mission. But his Thingamajig can also fix things and solve problems!
Angelmouse's Friends and Other Characters
- Quilly the Bird - Quilly is a talking bird who helps Angelmouse a lot. He gives Angelmouse advice and reminds him to start or keep going with his missions. Quilly also tells the story in each episode.
- Elliemum - She is a smart, kind, and happy elephant. She is Baby Ellie's mom and thinks Angelmouse is a "real angel."
- Baby Ellie - This is Elliemum's baby elephant. She loves to play and join in all the fun.
- Oswald - Oswald is a duck who loves to go fast, especially on roller-skates. He often shouts "No Brakes!" as he zooms by.
- Spencer - Spencer is a sweet teddy bear who often drives a car.
- Little Petal - She is a cute rag doll who runs a small shop.
- Hutchkin - Hutchkin is a rabbit who usually stays inside his burrow.
- Other Angels - These are angels who live in Heaven. They go to Angel School, where they learn how to be good, paint rainbows, and pass through the pearly Gates of Heaven. They first appeared in the episode "My Friend Angelmouse."
- Angel Teacher - This angel teaches all the other angels. He first showed up in "My Friend Angelmouse" and sometimes gets a bit annoyed when Angelmouse makes a mistake.
- You-know-who - This is how God is referred to in the show by Angelmouse and Quilly. You-know-who is never seen or heard directly. Instead, missions are sent to Angelmouse on a flying piece of paper. In the Christian faith, God is believed to have no physical form. When Angelmouse's Thingamajig disappears after he makes a mistake, it's thought that You-know-who might be responsible as a gentle reminder for Angelmouse.
- The Weather Angels - There are three angels who control the weather.
Unlike other angels, the Weather Angels don't have wings, robes, or halos. They appear as spirits who manage the weather.
- The Post Angel - This angel handles the "Seventh Heaven Newspaper."
