Starting Her Journalism Journey
Anne-Marie began her career in Canada. She worked as a reporter for CKVR-TV in Barrie. She also reported for Rogers Cable News in Mississauga, both in Ontario. In June 2001, she became a news anchor in Toronto. She worked for CITY-TV and CP24, a 24-hour news channel.
Joining CBS News
In October 2004, Anne-Marie moved to the United States. She joined KYW-TV, which is CBS 3, in Philadelphia. She worked as a general reporter there. She also co-anchored the Sunday morning news shows.
Becoming a National Anchor
Anne-Marie became a substitute anchor for CBS News in October 2012. She worked on the show Up to the Minute. On January 21, 2013, she became the main anchor. She hosted the early morning news show CBS Morning News from New York City. She left CBS Morning News on October 4, 2024. She then joined the CBS program 48 Hours.
